STRAWBERRY LEMONADE
When was the last time you had some homemade lemonade? I was in a restaurant in Mexico with my husband's family. I ordered lemonade. Wow, it was great. It was fresh squeezed with sugar. I drank two very large glasses. When I got home, I had to make some. So here's my recipe.
5 - 7 large lemons
1/2 pint ripe strawberries
1/2 cup raw sugar
8 - 10 cups of water
Squeeze your lemons of all their juice. Pour into blender.
Wash and remove the stems fro the strawberries, place in blender.
Add the sugar, blend on low just a couple seconds.
Pour into a pitcher, stir in the water.
Serve over ice.
Tips: When choosing lemons it doesn't matter how they look on the outside. Just squeeze them, if they're soft that means they're juicy.
Tips: If you want regular lemonade, don't add the strawberries. Put lemon juice, water and sugar in pitcher and stir well.
